Weaving our way through the spellbinding wild beauty of Rethymnon – think endless ribbons of mountain roads wind through its timeless interior, passing fields of wildflowers and tiny traditional hamlets cradled by olive groves – we arrived in Agreco, a traditional estate peppered with stonework trusses and Minoan architecture spirals, that was Anita and Andy’s wedding and reception venue.

 

Anita had a very clear vision of what she wanted. From our first moments together there was such joy in her honesty and strength in her kind reserve that we instantly clicked!

Unapologetically stunning (impossible to enfold the untamed allure and warmth of her Irish heritage) in her Carolina Herrera wedding gown, Badgley Mischka heels and Lazaro Bridal veil, her dashing bridal portraits were something of a given.

Our hearts were set on this wedding’s coltishly eclectic al fresco reception!

From the Polaroid bar built upon oak barrels and traditional wooden crates, decorated with delicate Cretan crochet, to all the wonderfully coordinated details by our exquisite partners at Moments Weddings & Events, plus a certain choice award winner – their deliciously playful stucco tiered cake featuring, who else? This couple of avid cyclists!
